We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This position requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to handle a variety of tasks with ease.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Maintain financial records
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Interpret financial reports and provide insights to management
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
  • Other duties as needed

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Hunt Valley, MD 21031: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Work Location: In person

Special Projects:
  • Formulation of GL numbering schema for chart of accounts.
  • Creation of closing checklists for month end and year end close.
  • Development of electronic file procedures.
  • Management of internal control procedures.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience in accounting, AIA billing
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to take initiative and be flexible while meeting multiple demands within a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed computer skills including competence & proficiency in Microsoft Excel
