Solar Gaines is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in our Hunt Valley office. This person will work to support the daily payroll operations


The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking timesheets for accuracy
  • Enter data into databases and spreadsheets
  • Processing wage garnishments
  • Make adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses, and commission
  • Manage the certified payroll

Requirements:
 

  • 1-2 years experience with payroll, accounting, and administrative tasks
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Positive, high-energy attitude
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Hunt Valley, MD 21031: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
